This is [Tamanoura], said to be a sudden mutation of the Yabu Tsubaki native to the Goto Islands.
It blooms every year in clusters.
When my children and I were learning tea ceremony, we wanted red and white Wabisuke camellias for our tea flower arrangements. We asked at nurseries and visited plant markets, but we couldn't find them.
We learned about a large plant market in Kyushu and went as a family.

At that time, we purchased a white camellia and a red [Tamanoura] camellia, whose names we didn't know, for our tea flower arrangements.
It has been 38 years since planting!
Length is about 10cm.
They can also be grown from cuttings.
