Age of Empires Collector’s Edition PC Complete 3 Disc Set Gold Age of Kings

Age of Empires Collector’s Edition PC Complete 3 Disc Set Gold Age of Kings Overview of the Collector's Edition: The Age of Empires Collector’s Edition is a comprehensive PC strategy compilation released on October 10, 2000. It serves as a complete anthology of the first two major titles in the franchise developed by Ensemble Studios. This 3-disc set is distinct because it combines the Gold Editions of both the first and second games into a single package. It includes four full games: Age of Empires: The original base game covering ancient civilizations. Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome: The expansion pack for the first game, adding Roman campaigns and units. Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings: The sequel set in the Middle Ages. Age of Empires II: The Conquerors: The expansion for the second game, introducing new civilizations like the Aztecs and Huns. Additionally, this edition includes a soundtrack CD featuring music from all four titles, which was a key selling point for collectors compared to buying the standard Gold Edition boxes separately. As a legacy title from 2000, the software is designed for older operating systems but remains playable on modern hardware with compatibility adjustments. Processor: Pentium 233 MHz or higher. RAM: 32 MB. Graphics: 16 MB video card (Riva TNT2 or better). Storage: Approximately 250–300 MB hard drive space. OS: Originally optimized for Windows 98/Me; requires compatibility modes for Windows 10/11.
